Hey Brett, Great work. No doubt your passion is shining through and the crowds can sense that. I know you give everything you do 100% because your students tell me so. I imagine its the same on the stage. Well done and enjoy. Looking forward to som…

Changes to the NETWORK

We have now realised that with the number of new members joining and the obvious enthusiasm for the G4GUITAR NETWORK we have decided to change things a little.

Previously we were looking at the G4GUITAR NETWORK being a meeting point for teachers who were actually G4 GUITAR teachers. But now we want to open it up to anyone who teaches guitar, drums, bass, voice etc. We want it to be a place for teachers to share and work together regardless of their circumstances. We want it to be an open platfo… Continue

Growing the G4GUITAR NETWORK

I thinks its my role to keep everyone looking at the big picture of G4GUITAR and why Networking together will benefit all of us.

Every member has something to give and something to gain to/from the Network. The power of the Network is in its value to it members. That value comes from what each of us give. Lets look at an example that many of us can relate to. The music industry is full of musicians, producers, songwriters etc. who network. G3 (Satriani, Vai & Petrucci) is a great example of… Continue

The G4GUITAR Strategy - Working with Google

So what is our business strategy?

As a G4 Network Member (G4NM) its important you know where we are heading. What our game plan is so to speak. Google dominates 95% of the internet. In the last 10 years Google has gone from being just another small player in a very big game (the net) to virtually owning the game. So it stands to reason they are making the rules.

I have been aware this for sometime and the G4 strategy is about riding the wave of Google and playing by their rules. Many of you ma… Continue

Quick Intro to Ning - G4GUITAR

If you have just joined let me tell you what I know in brief (which isn't that much).

MAIN PAGE
The main page is what we all can see. I can change this (and will at times). Think of it like a staff notice board where everything going on will appear.

Forum is where we will put topics to be discussed and anyone of us can contribute. We want to use this to educate but also to discuss issues.

Latest Activity is just what has happened. Good place to start when you first arrive… Continue

Dave Tks for the scale, it is totally diffeent then the one I found. I wil be able to figure out the rest know. Last question, does this scale fall into any catagory like penatonic, Natural etc. When I went on line I found something diffeent. Maybe I hit the wrong name Tks again appreciate your comeback. I am new and don't think I will ever be able to read music. Starting at 72 years old. I can play slow and medium fast songs if I can see where the fingers go.

Dave Tks your reply. Do you by chance have tabs for your summertime version placed on You Tube Love what you did with it but need to see it better as I do not read music and need tabs or clear vision of where finger go. Keep up the good work.
